WIKA NATIN ANG DAANG MATUWID.

The country of the Philippines, is an archipelago comprising of many islands, islands and regions of different languages spoken, one reason why not all Filipino understands each other, we don't agree on all things.
The late president Manuel L. Quezon had seen this problem in our country so he proposed the FILIPINO language to be used as the national language of the Philippines. Naisipian niyang gawin ang panukalang ito upang tayong mga PILIPINO ay magkaintindihan, at magkaisa. But then, as time passes by, and as technology invades the human history.
In using our own languages, by using our national language, we are being recognized on who we really are, the world can identify as a Filipino by using the Filipino language, don't be ashamed to tell that we are Filipino. Let us unite as one, let us enrich more our own language, learn to use it first before using others. Isigaw nating TAYO AY PILIPINO nagkakaisa at nagkakaunawaan. Our language is the key to success.

REFLECTION I

In the first quarter of my Fourth year in high school, there were a lot of lessons that I learned,
there were a lot of things, I realized that needs to be enhance and there are things that need to be done at on the right time on a right place.
First be serious on my academics, whats on my mind now that I'm in my fourth year is just to enjoy whats left in my high school life. I've never been that serious in this first quarter, and the result, I'm not contented on my exams. Second of course if you are serious you need to PUT YOUR VERY BEST, for the incoming quarters I told to myself that in every thing I do, I'll give my very best. Last lesson for this quarter, TAKE DOWN NOTES, ever since notes are my problems, last periodical I had only some notes and the result, I only review some of our lessons.
I hope I'll be better next quarter, and I hope I can apply the lessons I learned, there's still time for adjustments. Lessen the playing time and be serious.

STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

On July 22, 2013 our beloved President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, stated his 4th State Of the Nation Address (SONA), for the fourth time he reported to his bosses the achievements, successes and the things done by his administration in three years of service.
One of the topics of PNoy on July 22 2013, is on his plan of removing the Sangguniang Kabataan to our government. I think removing is somewhat a nice idea. They say, the new generations is the country's new hope, at the stage of SK new leaders of the new generation were mold and trained. But today at early stage, the generation who aspires to be the future leaders, learned the dirty style of politics. Yes, not all who run to an SK do the dirty style, but lets focus on THOSE who tho the dirty style, at early stage some are already buying votes, and these who buy votes, were just aiming for the position, they just want the title and benefits the government can give them. And serving their community, helping the higher officials and making their place better, which should be their first priority is not the real reason for running as a Sangguniang Kabataan. Also removing SK could make the government save more fond, for more important matters, like poverty, education etc.
We can all be a leader in our own way, even without a position or a title. We can always help our nation, and if we really want to help the nation we can always lend our services without any return.
