REFLECTION IV

It feels like yesterday, I just walked into the four corners of Ilocos Sur National High School as a little innocent freshmen being bumped by the older, taller and bigger students, and today, i am saying good bye as a senior student. My journey in this school had come to an end.
But lets not count the days, instead lets make the days count. Lets make the most of it, it is saying goodbye time. But in this last quarter I enjoyed my class, I enjoy Photoshopping, Color Correction, Changing Hair Color, Turning photos to black and white and many more stuff. Graduation is near, thank you teachers for the help, and knowledge you've given us.
This is it. We want it or not, we have to say goodbye. But before anything else thank for the joy and experience you shared with me, we laughed together, we cried together, we did a lot of crazy things together and I will surely treasure the moments I had with you. But we have different dreams and goals in life and we have to go on our separate ways to fulfill those dreams. So farewell to you my friends, hard to accept but we must move on to continue our journey. Goodbye doesn't mean not seeing each other again, instead it means we'll see each other again. I'll see you again and by that time I am sure that our dreams we're no longer dreams, we've got what we wanted.
Goodbye Ilocos Sur National High School.

Change. It Starts with ME.

In the world there is nothing permanent except "CHANGE". Do you agree with that statement? Well, nothing we can do about it, things changed, people change even the climate changes. One can change into two ways, Change to be good or Change to be bad.
Today, we are experiencing a serious problem in our Government. It looks like there are no more good leaders in our country, and if there is maybe only some. Our leaders nowadays uses their position for personal gains. There are now only some who really does their job without any anomaly, based on the readings on the newspapers, what we hear in the radio, what we watched in the TV there are more politicians who had deceived the nation.
Now is the time for change to be good, now is the time to change those who are in the position today, now is the time to correct what is wrong. As a teenager I'm already aware on what is happening in our country, there were corruptions and stealing of the Country's fund which has to be use for the improvement of the Philippines.
So how can the CHANGE we want be achieved? Change must starts first in ourselves, it must start in me, you and then everyone will follow. For us the new generation, in some time we will be the leaders of this nation what was happening today may be an eye opener. We must serve in will, be in that position to serve to help the nation and not for our own selves.

KANNAWIDAN: YLOCOS FESTIVAL

As we all know, technology is fast approaching, almost everything in this world is run by a machine. Innovation isn't bad at all, it is not bad to patronize modernization, but we must see to it that our beliefs and traditions will not be forgotten and that these should still be practiced.
The province of Ilocos Sur led by Governor Ryan Singson, has its own way to preserve these kinds of tradition and how to introduced this traditions to the newer generation. Kannawidan means a feast of heritages, practices and products. During the Kannawidan Festival, all of the products of the municipalities of the province were being showcased, their different indigenous dances were performed, and there were a lot of programs to watch for.
Saniata ti Ylocos is like binibining pilipinas, the most beautiful ladies of the different municipalities, were to compete for the crown. Of course during this festival Celebrities are always there, Rocco Nacino, Enzo Pineda, Jonalyn Viray and Gladys Guevarra Band,  Raging Divas, Pretty Triszia, Winnie Girls, Joey de Leon Look-a-Like, will be there to entertain the viewers. There are a lot more programs, KANNAWIDAN is definitely One of the best festivities in the country.

IN THE NEAR FUTURE....

There is always a time we asked ourselves, "Hey what do you want to be in the future?" or "What will I be in the near future?". Of course every single individual in this world wants success, it is a dream for everyone.
After kindergarten I was asked by my mom what I want to be, I said.. I want to be an architect, because back then I like drawing, I draw a lot before. And then on grade 3 I change my mind, I said to myself I want to be a Nurse and go abroad. And then in grade 6 this ambition of mine again was changed, as technology arises, and as computers gradually taking over the world I said I want to take I.T..
I've had a lot of dreams, but finally today, I figured out what I really wanting to be and to do in the near future. I wanted to be an engineer, specifically a CIVIL ENGINEER, ever since I found building structures a really nice job. I want this to be the ONE THING I'm looking forward to do everyday I woke up. Someday I'll be a successful engineer, I'll build one of the most famous buildings not only in the Philippines but in other countries, I wanna build bridges that will amazes people who crosses it.
This is the one I am gonna be after N-years. But of course I must have to finish first my education, thank God I'm already graduating in the secondary school, one more level to go. I promised to myself that this dream of mine will happen, all I need to do is to be determined, stay focus and always have FAITH IN GOD.
