TRUE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS.

Christmas, as we, the Catholics, know that this is the birthday of Jesus Christ, our savior. Most of us believe that it is the giving and receiving of gifts, day of parties and games.

God gave his only son Jesus for us to be saved from sin, and that is the gift we received from our creator, but in my opinion its not just only a gift, but it is his way for showing his love for us, he wanted to save us from sin because he loves us so much.

So for me Christmas is not only about material gifts, it is not only celebrating it by parties and games. For me it is a day to set aside the hate, and think about loving and caring for each and every one of us. For me it is a day to share happiness, help those who need help, and love those who needed love.

May we the true essence of Christmas be always in our hearts and minds, through out the year, not only in the month of December or in "-ber months". LOVE our fellowmen, forgive those who have sin with us, care and help those who are in need of help.

ABNORMALITY IN THE CLIMATE

We often talk about the climate, maybe we almost know everything about it, we know how heavy a rain could be, we know when will the spring or summer would come, but we can do anything about it, PAG-ASA can't do anything about it, we'll just have to accept what it'll do to us. 20px;">            Earlier this November a super typhoon named Yolanda, had struck our country, it brought a worst nightmare for the people in the Visayas Region. It destroyed and washaed out many municipalities especially Tacloban.           This DEVASTATION brought by typhoon Yolanda had caused many live, it caused many infrastructures to fall down, it cause hunger and sickness, nothing but a nightmare no one could ever imagine.
Typhoon like this is an effect of climate change; super typhoon, global warming, drought, abnormal volcanic eruption is some of its effect. Well, climate change naturally happens, it happens in a long period of time, years, and decades. But typhoons like Yolanda, I think the humankind had contributed on how severe it had cause.
Abnormality in the climate is the result of our doings. Cutting down trees, improper disposal of trashes, improper use of our resources were the main cause of this abnormality.
But of course, we could still fix this problem, there's a "therapy" on this abnormality, we can start this simply by the ways like, Reducing, Recycling, Reusing, planting trees of course, taking care of our natural resources. In one word BE RESPONSIBLE!
And if this will be done, we could live in the PLANET EARTH as if it was new..

EQUALITY

We all know that we live in a world of inequality. Discrimination or unfair judgement of our fellowmen is everywhere, in our country, municipality or simply even in our neighborhood.
We all wanted that our rights would be given to us, equal opportunities for each and every one of us, but, we don't live in a world as we want it to be. Instead, we are living in a world of discrimination. We are judging others. We discriminate the female, we discriminate the disable ones, the old ones, WE UNDERESTIMATE what they can do.
Everyone wants to live in a world of equality, where injustice never exists and the rights of every single individual would be given. It would be great to live in a world like that right? Of course it is, so why let this be just a hope, if we can live in world like that. Forget gender stereotypes, and gender equality, whether men or women, every one of us can do a certain task, gender is not a big deal. Old and young should share what they had, the old ones should give the young ones  the lessons they learned through their years of existence, while the young ones should share what day know about modernization. And those who are complete should not underestimate what the disabled can do.
With this, we could live in a world with EQUAL RIGHTS, and with equality of rights we could have EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES, in lie, living, and freedom.

Global Language

We live in planet divided into 7 continents with 196 countries in total. Each has their own cultures, beliefs, and languages. So the question is; how will we communicate to the people of other countries around the globe? Good thing there’s the English language.
English is undeniably the leading most common language used around the globe; businessmen, big companies or governments used the English Language as their primary language. As time passes by this language is widely adopted to Asian countries, for example China or Korea.
It is important for us to know how to speak and use the English Language, with this language we are able to speak, share our opinions and ideas to the people of other countries. When it comes to touring in other countries where you don’t have the same language and we missed our direction, we could use it to ask for direction. English is very important for every single individual in the PLANET, it give them confidence in communicating.

Reflection II (HTML)

It is the second grading of the school year 2013-2014, and we're a half done on our year as SENIORS, two more and we'll be graduating, time's running so fast. A very exhausting period, we'd gone through competitions, practice all day, requirements on different subjects, and a hectic TAGS in our subject ICT.
This period we took up the BASIC HTML, how to create an html file on the notepad. WoW! I'm telling you it is a not EASY. HTML or Hypertext Mark-up Language, without this there is no facebook, youtube, twitter and other social networking sites, Html tells how a browser display pages so it is very important to know what is HTML. Other thing we've done in this period is blogging, I like it 'cuz I am sharing my thoughts in the world, with the internet you'll never know celebrities are already reading my blogs(hahahah).
Yes, I said it was an exhausting period but I liked it, it tells me to work harder, and plus, I learned a lot in this period, with a little knowledge with the HTML, I think I can already make a Social Networking Site like FACEBOOK (In my dreams).

MY TEACHER, MY HERO

They are our second parents, they are the one who teaches us things we don't learn at home, they are the one who helps us to reach our goals and dreams, they are, our TEACHERS.
It is the month celebration for our teachers, and it is the time we show our appreciation, respect and love to them as their students. I am thankful that I had a chance to go to school and meet these kind and lovely teachers. I am very thankful that I had to receive and learn their teaching, thankful that I belong to those whom they share they knowledge.
Without teachers, there's no scientists, leaders, businessmen, doctors engineers and many more. Without them planet earth would would be a world lacking with ideas, information and will just be a world of ignorance. Sir, Ma'am, thank you for all the knowledge you've given us. You're our hero of the present.

SCIENCE MONTH CELEBRATION

"Unravel the causes, Build the Solutions, Empower Science Clubbers into Action" this is now the theme of the Science Month Celebration.
The theme aims to make us the youth, to be a part of solving the world's major problem, global warming, and natural disasters. As a youth being aware of these disasters, we could help or make the world become better. With a little knowledge on natural disasters, like heavy rains, that could result on floods, earthquakes, that causes tsunami, drought and many more, we could help make the impact lesser.
It is time for us to do what we should do, and it is time for the youth to help save the world, by planting trees, reducing, recycling, reusing resources. And with a  knowledge to what is happening to our planet we can make it healthier and better.

SOLDIERS our Modern Day Heroes

We surely know, the heroes of our country of the past, during the invasion of the Spaniards, Americans and the Japanese, Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Lapu-lapu, Jose Burgos and a lot more.
But today, let us give credits to those who do the same, the Modern Day heroes, those who sacrifices as what Jose Rizal did, to those who offer their lives for the country like what Andres Bonifacio did, in the present day.
One of those modern day heroes are the soldiers, they do and will do everything for the country, even if it means giving and sacrificing their own lives. Today we are all aware that there is war happening between the government and the MNLF in Zamboanga City, and there those soldiers protecting and risking their lives for the people, for the country, they left their love ones for the call of duty.
And I salute to them for what they are doing, I respect them and idolized them, they'd do everything for the country, to protect every one of us, they we're really are our MODERN DAY HEROES.

WIKA NATIN ANG DAANG MATUWID.

The country of the Philippines, is an archipelago comprising of many islands, islands and regions of different languages spoken, one reason why not all Filipino understands each other, we don't agree on all things.
The late president Manuel L. Quezon had seen this problem in our country so he proposed the FILIPINO language to be used as the national language of the Philippines. Naisipian niyang gawin ang panukalang ito upang tayong mga PILIPINO ay magkaintindihan, at magkaisa. But then, as time passes by, and as technology invades the human history.
In using our own languages, by using our national language, we are being recognized on who we really are, the world can identify as a Filipino by using the Filipino language, don't be ashamed to tell that we are Filipino. Let us unite as one, let us enrich more our own language, learn to use it first before using others. Isigaw nating TAYO AY PILIPINO nagkakaisa at nagkakaunawaan. Our language is the key to success.

REFLECTION I

In the first quarter of my Fourth year in high school, there were a lot of lessons that I learned,
there were a lot of things, I realized that needs to be enhance and there are things that need to be done at on the right time on a right place.
First be serious on my academics, whats on my mind now that I'm in my fourth year is just to enjoy whats left in my high school life. I've never been that serious in this first quarter, and the result, I'm not contented on my exams. Second of course if you are serious you need to PUT YOUR VERY BEST, for the incoming quarters I told to myself that in every thing I do, I'll give my very best. Last lesson for this quarter, TAKE DOWN NOTES, ever since notes are my problems, last periodical I had only some notes and the result, I only review some of our lessons.
I hope I'll be better next quarter, and I hope I can apply the lessons I learned, there's still time for adjustments. Lessen the playing time and be serious.

STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

On July 22, 2013 our beloved President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, stated his 4th State Of the Nation Address (SONA), for the fourth time he reported to his bosses the achievements, successes and the things done by his administration in three years of service.
One of the topics of PNoy on July 22 2013, is on his plan of removing the Sangguniang Kabataan to our government. I think removing is somewhat a nice idea. They say, the new generations is the country's new hope, at the stage of SK new leaders of the new generation were mold and trained. But today at early stage, the generation who aspires to be the future leaders, learned the dirty style of politics. Yes, not all who run to an SK do the dirty style, but lets focus on THOSE who tho the dirty style, at early stage some are already buying votes, and these who buy votes, were just aiming for the position, they just want the title and benefits the government can give them. And serving their community, helping the higher officials and making their place better, which should be their first priority is not the real reason for running as a Sangguniang Kabataan. Also removing SK could make the government save more fond, for more important matters, like poverty, education etc.
We can all be a leader in our own way, even without a position or a title. We can always help our nation, and if we really want to help the nation we can always lend our services without any return.

"Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating Wakasan"

Every year on the month of July, we celebrate the "Nutrition Month" this time it has the theme, "Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating Wakasan", in the 37 years of celebrating this event, our main focus is of course on the nutrition for EVERY-JUAN.
In our country starvation and malnutrition is all around the nation, most especially to the squatters area, undeveloped places and of course to the poor . To be healthy at 100% one must consume the GO, GROW, and GLOW foods. My question can those who belong to the poor afford to buy all of these? they can't even manage to eat thrice a day.
Giving solution to poverty is one answer, but poverty is a problem of the country that has not yet been given answers til now. But there's an alternative solution to starvation and malnutrition,  putting up feeding programs is one, another is helping those that don't have much in living and help one another, share some excess foods. That's it! starvation and malnutrition will come to an end.

Letter to the President

Dear PNoy,
Sir President, first of all I want to congratulate you and your administration for winning nine out of twelve seats in the senate last May 13, 2013 election, I would say that this one is a big success for you. Now, most of our senators will support and follow you. Second, thank you for all the hardwork you've done for making our country be successful.
I am Gian Carlo, just like everybody else, I'm also concerned on what is happening to our country and economy. What I'm seeing now is there are three main problems in our country that needs an answer and respond from you and your administration. First, in Poverty, we all know there so many informal settlers, no permanent homes, so many filipinos old and young who don't eat thrice a day, everywhere, in every place beggars are always wandering. When will all of us, all filipino had a better life? Second, in Education, every year we face these problems, every year Philippines is lack on teachers, lack on facilities, especially on schools and rooms, do you find solutions to these problems? And third Corruption, is this the new look of our government, government with corrupt leaders?
Add caption
Sir, now I hope these problems and questions be answered someday, with a quick response with the government led by you, and I hope before your term ends the "Tama at Tuwid na Daan" is already in our hands. GOOD LUCK! in making our country more progressive,  you can do that Sir PNoy :) .
